Pursuant to Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), PARC | Parlak Architects, as data controller, processes the personal data of persons who visit the parlakarchitects.com website and contact us, within the scope described below.

2. Personal Data Processed

  • Identity and contact information: your name and surname, email address, phone number and message content shared via the contact form or email.
  • Transaction security information: technical records such as IP address, browser and device information, and the date and time of your visit.
  • Marketing and usage information: website usage and advertising performance data obtained through cookies (only if you give your consent).

3. Purposes of Processing

  • Responding to your contact requests and to your project and collaboration inquiries,
  • Conducting quotation and contract processes,
  • Ensuring the security of the website and maintaining its technical operation,
  • Measuring website usage and conducting advertising activities (subject to your cookie consent),
  • Fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from competent authorities.

4. Collection Method and Legal Grounds

Your personal data is collected through the contact form on our website, email and cookies, by partially or fully automated means. Your data is processed on the basis of the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the KVKK:

  • Being directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c),
  • Being necessary for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç),
  • The legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (Art. 5/2-f),
  • Your explicit consent with regard to analytics and marketing cookies (Art. 5/1).

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Limited to the purposes above, your personal data may be transferred to suppliers from whom we receive hosting, email and IT services, and to legally authorized public institutions and organizations. Due to the Google services used on our website (Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Google Fonts), some data may be transferred to servers located abroad. Transfers abroad are carried out in accordance with the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.

6. Retention Period

Data submitted through the contact form is kept for a maximum of 2 years from the conclusion of your request. If a contractual relationship is established, the data is retained for the limitation and retention periods set out in the relevant legislation. At the end of the period, the data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

7. Your Rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, by applying to the data controller, you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed,
  • request information if it has been processed,
  • learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
  • request its correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
  • request its deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK,
  • request that any correction, deletion or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  • object to any adverse outcome arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • and request compensation for damages if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing.

8. How to Apply

You may submit your requests regarding your rights in writing, together with information identifying you, to our address above in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Applications to the Data Controller, or send them to info@parlakarchitects.com by email. Your applications will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
