Amerikan Kültür Görükle
In this comprehensive interior renovation of the Amerikan Kültür Language Schools branch in Görükle, Bursa, the aim was to transform the learning spaces in line with modern standards. Carried out by PARC | Parlak Architects, this language school interior design project takes an approach that blends functional learning spaces with aesthetic values.
Design Concept and Color Palette
The project’s core design philosophy draws inspiration from the symbolic colors of the American flag, which reflect the identity of the Amerikan Kültür Language School. Through the harmonious use of red, blue and white, the corporate identity was strengthened and a motivating learning environment was created for students.
Material Selection and Detailing
Brick walls give the space character, while the choice of white brick creates a bright and airy atmosphere. Slat details and accents in blue paint on the corridor walls of the classrooms add dynamism to the learning spaces.
White-toned wood parquet flooring ensures consistency within the overall color harmony while adding a warm touch through the use of natural materials. On the solid core surfaces at the center of the floor plan, glass applied over MDF emphasizes transparency and modernity.
Functional Solutions
During the interior design process, flexible spaces tailored to the needs of language education were created. With optimal acoustic conditions and the use of natural light considered in every space,
environmental conditions that support learning performance were provided.
Completed in 2024, the project is a successful example reflecting PARC | Parlak Architects’ experience in educational buildings and its user-focused design approach.
