Ocean House: A Bali-Inspired Interior Design
The Ocean House interior design is a residential project that brings a tropical Balinese atmosphere together with sea views from the coast. In this project, warm wood textures, natural stone surfaces and marble details were combined to create a living space that is both comfortable and visually striking. The main goal was an interior that blends the ease of everyday life with the experience of a luxury holiday.
Material Selection: A Balance of Wood and Marble
The interior’s floors and ceilings are finished with natural wood cladding, which gives the space warmth and an organic character. Marble, chosen for the kitchen countertops, bathroom surfaces and accessory details, creates an elegant contrast that strengthens the sense of luxury. Using these two materials together was a deliberate choice that brings the Balinese philosophy of living close to nature into the interior.
A Layout That Brings the Sea View Inside
One of the defining design decisions of Ocean House was making the sea view visible from every room through large window openings. The size and position of the windows were planned so that natural light spreads through the interior throughout the day. As a result, even enclosed spaces feel open-air; from the living areas to the bedrooms, the visual connection with the sea continues uninterrupted.
Color Palette and Decorative Approach
The interior adopts a palette dominated by earth tones, sand white and natural green. Decorative elements such as woven rattan, handmade ceramics and tropical plant arrangements carry the authentic character of the Bali concept while maintaining an understated elegance. Furniture was chosen with a balance of comfort and aesthetics, so that every room suits both everyday use and entertaining guests.
A Holistic Design Approach
The Ocean House interior project, in which a single concept is applied consistently to every space, was approached with a holistic design approach. The same material language and color scheme were followed throughout, from the bedrooms to the shared living areas and from the bathrooms to the entrance hall. The result is a residential interior with sea views and a tropical atmosphere that families can enjoy both in everyday life and during holidays.
